Our goal is to ensure children and students never experience being trafficked, in lieu of restoring them when they become victims.

Our education is Survivor-informed with their incomparable insights on ending human trafficking.

We work with Tribal Leaders, county officials, students and parents, service providers and law enforcement to ensure our training remains top-notch.

We are trauma-informed, teach age-appropriate information, 
and comply with CA law, AB 1227.

Following years of intense, ongoing training, we develop then tailor-make everything for you, each time with the most up-to-date information.

The Result: a child protected from the ravages of trafficking
and a safer, more secure community.

WHO WE TRAIN

WHO WE TRAIN button:

  • Elementary school age may seem too young, but age-appropriate education helps make them Self-aware, goes beyond “stranger-danger” and teaches the power and permission to say, “No!” (Note: this is not mandated by CA AB 1227)
  • Middle school children are prime targets for recruitment. Targeting their vulnerabilities, traffickers choose victims, lure with promises they want to believe, then isolate, abuse, and confuse them.
  • High school teens are also prime targets. Traffickers take their time, use Spotters, identify targets, dangle gifts to lure, and then sell them, sometimes while still living at home. We call this the “trafficker’s business plan,” it’s for catching teens and we teach you the tell-tale signs you may begin to see in your friends and students.
  • Administrators, Teachers, Counselors, Medical and Janitorial staff, you are the student’s support system at school and when knowledgeable yourselves can disrupt the trafficker’s plan. We help you recognize trauma, know how to approach students, how to report and refer them for professional care, while maintaining safety for all in the school.

As your Guest Speaker, funded by our generous Sponsors, our trained representatives, passionate about what they do, deliver directly to your school and students. Here’s how:

  • Individual classes, such as your Human Interaction Class, or similar
  • Entire grade levels in multiple, back-to-back classroom presentations
  • School assemblies, because everyone in your school, from students to Administration and all in-between, needs to know this problem is real, how to recognize it, and what to do and how to report it
  • Specialized Youth Groups and Youth Clubs inside the school or outside the school. We also mentor youth wishing to initiate a human trafficking project for their group, club or school in collaboration with their mentors and teachers.
  • PTA or PTO meetings, because parents need to know. This also helps your school’s LCFF compliance engaging parents and community to create a sound LCAP.
  • We offer Special project-based education for students that teach about human trafficking in fun and innovative ways – just ask!
