COUNTY and GOVERNMENT Events - Gallery

County and Government Offices, especially those working with youth, disabled persons, marginalized persons,  immigrants, and the elderly gain significantly from prevention of human trafficking education that ultimately gives a broader service to those they assist.

Our Past County and Government Events:

2020.03.12 – “Public Safety and Justice” in collaboration with the Marin County Office of the District Attorney and the Leadership Institute of the San Rafael Chamber of Commerse.

A very successful training with great up and coming Community Leaders!

2017.01.26 – National Slavery & Human Trafficking Prevention Month – “Human Trafficking: A Global & Local Issue – The Surprising Truth in our Community – Recruitment to Rehabilitation – What you need to know,” hosted by the Monument Crisis Center for the Contra Costa Human Trafficking Coalition, Concord, California.

Training all members of your coalition on the signs of human trafficking, recruitment tactics, law enforcement practices, legal and victim services is imperative for collaboration within every county and across multi-counties. Let’s do it!

2016.01.21 – National Slavery & Human Trafficking Prevention Month – “Protecting Teenagers against Sex Trafficking,” with the Marin Child Abuse Prevention Council and Shared Hope International Ambassador, San Rafael, California.

We have provided training on the signs of human trafficking recruitment and potential victim identification for county offices working with children and youth, such as the Marin Child Abuse Prevention Council and Marin-CASA. This is an important part of their work on the front-line of human trafficking prevention.

2015.11.19 – “Elegidos,” hosted by the Consulado de México with Shared Hope International, San Francisco, California.

Training at the Consulate General of México in San Francisco for consular staff and special invitees from their community. We conducted several additional community trainings branching off of this initial introduction.

Would you like training for your organization’s leaders and staff?
